Mar is a Spanish cellist who finished her studies in Madrid in Queen Sofia School of Music, and currently continues her master studies in Oslo, with professor Torleif Thedéen in Norges Musikhøskole. She is an active performer, both as a chamber musician and soloist, and has performed all around Spain also with the Spanish National Youth Orchestra. She is very interested in producing new concept interdisciplinary performances, as well as questioning the classical music paradigm with new stages and ideas. 

As a teacher, she loves to collaborate in volunteering programs, such as “VAS 2017” in Nicaragua, and aims for enjoying the most pure part of music learning, both with kids and adults who like to explore the cello.
